Your Story

Submission guidelines

We hope to collect and share a variety of personal accounts and perspectives from individuals with respect to CCSVI and multiple sclerosis, in your own voice. We welcome your story.

  • Stories should reflect real-life experiences, in your own words
  • Feel free to update your story through additional submissions over time
  • Avoid the following, which can immediately disqualify your story from being used on this website:
    • Stories unrelated to your own personal experiences
    • Sharing of information which breaches copyright laws
    • Private messages and/or personal email correspondence
    • Bigotry, libel, unsubstantiated allegations, abusive language or personal attacks

Stories will be archived and may be shared on other MS Society communication pieces.

Updating Your Story

Upon submission of a story, you will receive an email with a token (e.g., bBzkY) and a link to a web page where you can update your story. When you go to this page and enter your token, you will be redirected to your original story. You can then make changes or add to your story. If you would like to update your story but you've lost your token, please email ccsvi@mssociety.ca. Indicate the title of your story and we will send you an email with your unique token and the link to the 'update story' page.
