In November 2011, I had CCSVI therapy in Latham, NY. I waited 1 year but chose Latham for its reasonable cost & quality care in comparison to 3rd world countries with questionable medical practices. Canadian citizens shouldn't have to go abroad for CCSVI when angioplasty… Read more.

Some time ago, I read that the story of Jack Frost originated from Viking folklore - Jokul Frosti. A fable of sorts and a good yarn that helped to describe the “icicle frost” and cold. I suppose we have an equivalent in Old Man Winter.
